Made of organic cotton poplin, the Krihke shirt dress has a relaxed, A-line fit and it is printed in the Joonas pattern. The dress has narrow ribbons at the neckline, a concealed button closure, side seam pockets, and a curved hem. The cuffed sleeves have button closures.

In 1961, Maija Isola spent many evenings and nights working in Marimekko’s print factory – painting in gentle, sweeping brushstrokes to the sway of music. Meter upon meter of new patterns emerged. On one of those nights, Joonas (Jonah), a pattern inspired by the sun dancing on the waves of the Mediterranean, saw daylight.
